Bayside Council Permit
Botany is part of Bayside Council and as such if you would like to place a skip bin on a public road you will need to complete the ‘Approval to Place a Skip Bin in a Public Place‘ form. When completing the form you will be required to provide details of the location, size and visibility of the skip bin. The application will cost $286. The Occupancy fee for skip bin smaller that 2.5 cubic metres (per day) is $18.40 whereas the Occupancy fee for skip larger than 2.5 cubic metres (per day) is $37.
If your skip bin will be delivered to your property there is no need for a council permit, the permit is only required if the bin will be delivered to a public space.
